If you require dialysis during your sightseeing or business trip to Kyoto, our hospital can provide it.

How about a trip to Kyoto for a stroll in a city full of feeling and world heritage?
Seventeen World Heritage Sites have been registered as cultural assets, and with its many places to view cherry blossoms and autumn leaves, you can enjoy traveling all year round.
If you require dialysis during your sightseeing or business trip to Kyoto, our hospital can provide it.
We are located east of central Kyoto, but if you are staying within the city, we can pick you up at your accommodations.

Dialysis Times

Including holidays

• Morning: From 8:30
• Afternoon: From 2:00
• Night: From 6:00 (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays only)

* The time may be slightly earlier or later.
* Please inquire if you would like a time other than the above.

How to apply

There are two ways to apply.

1. By telephone (* in Japanese or English)

2. By e-mail (* in Japanese or English)

* Please inquire about reception for groups as well.

What to prepare

• Insurance card (if you have one)
• Letter of referral
• Records of dialysis (2–3 days)
• Change of clothing such as pajamas (if necessary)
  [A locker room is available for changing clothes.]

* You can wear shoes in the room, so you will not need slippers.
* Please send us your referral letter and dialysis information in advance by fax (+81-75-593-8035) or e-mail.

Cost and method of payment

Around 70,000 yen / session

* Anything additional such as medication will be charged separately.

There will be staff on duty who can speak English and Chinese.

Transportation service

We will provide free transportation to your hotel.

* You can also come to the hospital in your own car (with free parking).

Course of dialysis

1. We will pick you up by car at your hotel in the city of Kyoto.
   * Please check if you are outside Kyoto. We may cover the transportation cost depending on your location.
2. Come to the reception desk at the hospital.
3. You will be shown to the changing room (if you need to change clothes).
4. You will move to the dialysis room and be shown to a bed after weight measurement.
5. After puncture, maintenance dialysis will be conducted.
   * Blood may also be collected.
6. After blood return, needle withdrawal and hemostasis, you will be weighed again to finish.
7. Please pay at the reception desk.
   * Payment may be by cash or credit card.

8. You will be transported to your desired location, such as your hotel or a tourist spot.
   * Please note that the range of available transportation is limited.
